Thanks to the collaborative efforts of partners from five European countries, a mobile platform has been developed to offer interactive distance learning in energy literacy for young people, particularly those unable to attend physical training due to various reasons such as financial constraints or technical limitations. The online platform grants access to a wide array of knowledge and training materials covering various topics. Complementing the platform is an e-course aimed at promoting energy literacy and fostering behavioural change among young individuals to contribute to the establishment of sustainable communities. The course was initially launched in English in January 2024, and as of March 2024, it has been made available in the languages spoken by the project partners, namely Polish, Croatian, Greek, Slovenian, and German. This expansion has significantly enhanced the accessibility of the course to a broader audience across Europe. Read more here.
The e-course is structured into modules, each focusing on a distinct energy literacy topic, ranging from introductions and key concepts to offering practical advice on adopting positive energy habits within one's home. Every module culminates with a certificate acknowledging participants' advancement and dedication to energy literacy. This certificate serves as a valuable credential for both personal and professional growth, underscoring a commitment to sustainability. To obtain the certificate, participants must satisfactorily complete a quiz at the conclusion of each module, assessing the knowledge acquired. More information about certificates is available here.
