The last Transnational Project Meeting
The third TPM of El-Practice project, which was held on 22nd of March 2024 in Krakow, Poland. PNEC, as a partner organization and coordinator of the project, was the host organization in charge of organizing the TPM meeting and hosted all partner organizations on its premises. The third TPM meeting was attended by all partner organizations with a total of 12 members, from partner organisations: MIITR, LEVILO, PNEC, REGEA, InnovationHive, and one member of KSEENA.
Developing energy skills among young adults – international conference in Krakow
On March 22, 2024, an international conference on the role of young adult education in the face of the energy transition took place at the Polish Academy of Arts and Sciences in Krakow. The event was organized within the framework of the international project El-Practice: Energy Literacy – practical training on sustainable energy consumption via personal behavior change. Its goal is to support young adults (29–39 years old) in expanding their knowledge and improving their skills and capabilities of sustainable energy use, as well as increasing their self-confidence, leading them to actively engage in the creation of a sustainable society and educating them to take responsibility for their life choices. The event was at the same time part of the implementation of the Climate Pact initiative in Poland.

FOURTH EL-PRACTICE NEWSLETTER
Welcome to the fourth newsletter of the El-pactice project summarizing the important events that took place over the past few months. By far the most important month of this year was January - this is when we officially launched the El-Practice course. On the way to this achievement, several important events were arranged, the detailed descriptions of which are included in this newsletter.
El-Practice Energy Literacy Course: Certificates
Participants in the El-Practice Energy Literacy Course will receive certificates after successfully completing each module. These certificates recognise learners’ progress and commitment to energy literacy. They serve as valuable credentials for personal and professional development, showcasing dedication to sustainability.
El-Practice Energy Literacy Course Expands: 5 New Languages Coming in March!
El-Practice, a course dedicated to energy literacy and sustainable consumption, which launched in January, is undergoing a significant expansion. Excitingly, national versions are already available in Polish, Croatian, Austrian German, Greek, and Slovenian, enhancing accessibility for learners worldwide. These language variants maintain the course's high standards, featuring interactive modules and culturally relevant content tailored specifically for young adults. This expansion reflects El-Practice's commitment to providing accessible, high-quality education in energy literacy and sustainable practices to empower young adults globally. Invitation to participate in the conference on developing energy skills among young adults
We would like to invite you to participate in the international conference on developing energy literacy among young adults, which will take place on 21 March 2024. The event is organised in hybrid format (stationary in Poland), therefore we invite you to participate online.
El-practice course launches in January!
Work on the development of a course to build competences related to conscious energy management has been underway for more than a year. We are delighted to announce that the course will be available in English in January 2024 and in 5 languages shortly thereafter. The training course, consisting of interactive micro-training, through which knowledge can be acquired in small portions, will provide comprehensive knowledge for making better decisions on energy use, which in the long run will improve the household budget, the quality of life but also our environment.
EL-Practice project at VIII Adult Education Forum
On 14-15 November in Warsaw, the eighth Adult Education Forum organised by the Foundation for the Development of the Education System and the EPALE National Office took place. The event brings together experts, practitioners and all those involved in adult education. The Forum aims to analyse best practices and reflect together on how adult education can be more accessible and effective, regardless of age, skills and individual predispositions, abilities or needs of the audience.
During this year's event, Association of Municipalities Polish Network „Energie Cités” had the opportunity to present activities carried out as part of the EL-Practice project, i.e. activities aimed at engaging young adults and increasing their knowledge in the field of energy and climate protection.

C2 SHORT-TERM ADULT TRAINING IN ZAGREB, CROATIA
From 2-6 October 2023, a short-term adult training was held in Zagreb (Croatia) organized by REGEA. Representatives from each of the partner organizations attended, as well as young adults from Austria, Croatia, Greece, Poland, and Slovenia.
The training provided an excellent opportunity to collaborate and exchange experiences on energy and sustainable development initiatives. The main objective was to transfer new knowledge and strengthen the competencies of the representatives of the project's target group in the field of energy literacy, through a presentation of the results so far and a presentation of the interactive e-course which is under development which is a key result of the project.
El-Practice at SDEWES Conference
The 18th SDEWES Conference, which took place from 24-29 September 2023 in Dubrovnik, Croatia, emphasized increasing sustainability by de-coupling growth from natural resource use and facilitating a transition to a knowledge-based economy.
On Monday, 25 September, Ana Ulbin from MIITR presented empirical research based on the El-practice project, examining factors influencing energy literacy among young adults in Poland, Slovenia, Croatia, Greece, and Austria.
